Parent Advisory Council (PAC)

The next parent meeting will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the library.

The Rosemary Heights Elementary PAC has the following purposes:

  1. To enhance the academic, social, emotional, and physical education of the students at Rosemary Heights Elementary.
  2. To establish and promote a sense of community among the students, teachers, and parents.
  3. To link the school with the community as a whole.

Every parent is a voting member of the PAC. Although parents elect an executive body, the PAC is made up of every parent at Rosemary Heights Elementary.

Through its executive and associated committees, the PAC sponsors a variety of events, including parent, education, fundraising, social, and school development events. Parents provide support through their involvement in fundraising, the classroom, library, field trips, as well as other school events and programs.

Parent meetings

Parent meetings take place once a month, and are held in the library at the school. All parents are encouraged to attend to provide input and feedback, and to vote on motions put forward in the meeting.
